Un pianeta extrasolare in orbita intorno a star that entered the Milky Way came from another galaxy was detected by a European team of astronomers using the telescope MPG / ESO 2.2-meter site in La Silla in Chile The planet, like Jupiter, is particularly unusual as orbiting a star near the end of its cycle of development and would be on the verge of being swallowed up by it, providing intriguing clues about the possible fate of our planetary system in the distant future.
