Cap. XX - Il Bodhisattva Sadapaributa (Mai sprezzante)
Mi ricordo di un tempo passato in cui c’era un Buddha chiamato Bismagaritasvararaja (Re Suono maestoso), dotato di poteri e saggezza sconfinati, guida e maestro di tutti, attorno a cui dei, men, dragons and spirits gathered to pay him offers. After the extinction of this Buddha, even when its law was on the verge of extinction, there lived a Bodhisattva whose name was never haughty, in a time when monks were extremely arrogant. This monaco, everyone met, bowed and spoke words of praise, saying
"I have a deep respect for you because you all are following the path of the Bodhisattva and certainly attain Buddhahood" This
monaco not engaged in read or proclaim the scriptures but they just went around bowing to people.
Among the four categories of believers, however, there were many people who spoke ill of him and insulted him. They spent so many years during which this monaco was despised and reviled. However, he can never get angry and beat him even when he repeated "I have a deep respect for you because you all are following the path of the Bodhisattva and certainly attain Buddhahood"
For this reason he was nicknamed Never contemptuous. When this
Monaco was about to die, he heard from the sky a million verses of the Lotus Sutra, which previously had been preached by the Buddha king majestic sound. At that moment, then bought the purity of sight, smell, hearing, body and mind and His life is extended by two hundred ten thousand million years nayuta and he went about far and wide preaching the Lotus Sutra.
Then, the four categories of believers who had hitherto despised, seeing that he had acquired all these virtues, supernatural, hearing his preaching took faith in him and willingly became his faithful followers.
Now listen, with great authority, that I was the Bodhisattva, and the four categories of believers are present today in this Assembly.
Therefore, those who practice it, after the extinction of the Buddha, if you hear a sutra like this, not the slightest doubt or perplexity, but with all my heart to preach this sutra far and wide, to meet the buddha was after it was completed quickly and the way of the Buddha.
To explain in short all the doctrines held by the Tathagata, all the powers which are available and it uses freely all the treasures of the fundamental Tathagata, all the deepest questions of the Tathagata, all this is said, revealed and explained clearly in this sutra.
